Available in flavors like Sweet & Smokin’, Pepper Power, Far Out Fajita and In Herbs We Trust, each single serving bag is only 100 calories. Each serving offers up 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein. Released in July, the unique snack is available at Starbucks, Whole Foods and Amazon. The health food product is marketed by a relatively new name in the healthy snack food game, Green Park Brands.
Green Park Brands was established in 2015 and markets a number of food and drink products. The company is dedicated to a mission of going green and being environmentally conscious. For example, Green Park Brands is using Hippeas as a way to partner with the Farmers Africa intiative.
Green Park Brands CEO and founder, Livio Bisterzo is no stranger to the health food game. As a serial entrepreneur, he is using his business experience to build a brand that promotes social good and healthy eating. Bisterzo believes that the introduction of Hippeas will open the door for several other innovative products.
Bisterzo has worked in various business ventures besides nutritional products. Before moving to California for the brand’s launch in 2016. He lived in the UK, where he launched a successful high end men’s skincare line. While still in his twenties, the successful entrepreneur had received several awards and recognition, such as being named one of the top 100 most influential people in London in 1999.
As Bisterzo looks to tackle the health food industry with the Green Park Brands company, he is quickly making strides. With a extremely successful first product launch of Hippeas, it seems as if the future is very bright for Green Park Brands and their mission of creating a better world.
